Kathy Taerum

B.Sc. B.Ed. P.Geoph.

Kathy earned Bachelor degrees in Physics& Applied Math and Education and has been a professional geophysicist member of APEGA for 25 years. After two years working as a meteorologist with Environment Canada, she joined the oil & gas industry – first in seismic processing and later specializing in technical applications and mapping. Kathy has long enjoyed the wonder of Yoho National Park. In past years she volunteered as an assistant guide for the BSGF. Since 2010 she has been guiding for the BSGF and is a certified interpretive guide.
