Rob Taerum
Ph.D. Geology Candidate
Rob graduated with a B.Sc. in Physics and was employed as a meteorologist for two years. After completing an Honours degree in Geophysics, he worked in a variety of roles in a major oil and gas company for 23 years. In 2005, Rob returned to the University of Calgary where he is investigating the processes that affect the development of detachment surfaces in thrust faults of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
