Sylvie Tissandier

M.Sc. Paleontology

Sylvie Tissandier's first exposure to the Burgess Shale came in high school when she participated in a research program with the Foundation. She returned to the Rocky Mountains after completing an M.Sc. in paleontology specializing in fish fins, as well as a Bachelor of Education. Now in her fourth season of guiding with the Foundation, Sylvie is a high school biology teacher in Calgary.
