Reservation and Refund Policy
Reservations are required and may be made by calling 1-800-343-3006 Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 3:30 PM, Mountain Standard/Daylight time.
Charges will be made to your credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) when your reservation is made. No refunds are provided except when medical conditions prevent an individual from participating in the guided hike and the individual with the medical condition provides a note from the attending physician stating such. This must be provided directly to the Director of The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation. This can be faxed to the Foundation's administration offices at: 250-343-6426. The fee for making changes to the schedule of the hike once the registration has been made is $20 CAD per person.
The dates for scheduled hikes may be canceled due to extreme weather. In this event, refunds will be provided. Please ensure we have a phone number (or Campsite) where we can contact you if we should need to notify you of a cancellation.
The residential mailing addresses with postal/zip code is required for each person in your group. At the time of registration the name and address of the person registering is required and the additional names and addresses can be emailed here at a later date, but prior to the date of the hike.
